Throughout our history, there have always been critics of innovative projects. Think major investments like the Internet, the Apollo Space Program or the Golden Gate Bridge; each received opposition from many groups, but all have made this world a better place.
Despite criticism from some who lack vision about the future of global energy innovation, the Kemper Power Plant is leading the way. The Plant is the first clean coal plant in the United States. Mississippi Power and Southern Company (the owners of the plant) are innovating on behalf of all of us—combining power generation and new ways of reducing greenhouse emissions.
