“Inside the Dome” Told by Kemper (August 21, 2015)

 

It’s that time again! Below are happenings from the Kemper Clean Coal Plant over the past week:

  • Voting for the Mississippi Innovation Photo contest has closed. We are tallying up the votes and emails will be sent to the lucky winners shortly! We received some really great entries. They can still be viewed on our Facebook page. Thank you to all participants!!! Below are just some of the photos that were submitted:

  • An injured Mississippi Kite was found at the Kemper Plant this week. Unfortunately, the bird suffered a head trauma and had a severe compound fracture on its wing. Wildlife Enforcement Officers contacted East Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation for assistance and according to their latest post on Facebook, they were taking the bird for an x-ray. We thank both the Wildlife Enforcement Officers and East Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation for all of their efforts to save this beautiful animal.
