“Inside the Dome” Told by Kemper (August 28, 2015)

 

It’s that time again! Below are happenings from the Kemper Clean Coal Plant over the past week:

  • Kemper was mentioned at the 2015 Gulf Coast Energy Forum which was held in Tampa, FL this week! The event was hosted by the Partnership for Affordable Clean Energy (PACE) and the Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA). Cameron Smith, columnist for the Alabama Media Group was in attendance and provided the following key takeaways: 1) Utilities are caught in a “wait and see” situation; 2) Stability matters for energy generators and our economy; 3) Energy issues aren’t inherently partisan; 4) Fuel on hand is an important issue for energy generators; and 5) The biggest threat to energy security outside of government action is attacks on our energy infrastructure.
