Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
What’s even cooler about this plant’s technology is the fact that its byproducts will have utility. The Kemper Project is located in near proximity to a Denbury Oil Field that utilizes Enhanced Oil Recovery. EOR allows Denbury to extract much larger amounts of oil than through traditional means. Profits from these ventures will make their way back to Mississippi Power customers!
